Bluestar Forensic is a luminol based reagent used to detect blood stains which have been washed out, wiped off or which are invisible to the naked eye.
 
Based upon chemiluminescence, the unique formula makes it an effective reagent to detect blood on crime scenes as well as in the laboratory.
 
Bluestar does not have an effect on DNA and allows for subsequent DNA typing as well as ABO typing.
