Hexagon OBTI is a test that can determine if a blood stain is of human or animal origin.
 
It is a two-part test and consists out of a collection tube for the blood sample and a test device.
 
A sample of the questioned blood trace is transferred into the tube with containing the transport medium. This mixture is added drop by drop to the test device. A positive sample is typically detected within 2-5 minutes.
 
Tests are individually packed. A box contains 24 tests.
