The black version of TwoPurpose powder is based on the popular Swedish Black fingerprint powder, the white version on Instant White fingerprint powder. The powders contain additional pigments which fluoresce when excited with long wave UV light (365 nm), the powder then fluoresces in green. TwoPurpose powder is particular useful when used on multi coloured surfaces. Examining the fingerprint in fluorescence will great reduce the interference of the background.
